Major Requirements

Diagram of studio-based curriculum

The Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree at UGA is a four-year, 120 hour (plus PE) degree. The major requirements course sequence is lock-step, meaning it is offered and required to be taken in the exact order and sequence shown below (eight (8) semesters to completion, regardless of previously earned credits). Due to the need for design skills competency, courses may not be moved around or taken out of sequence. Please see the Bulletin for a complete listing of all LAND courses with descriptions.

**Please note that the BLA is a differential fee major. You can view the tuition schedule HERE or contact the Bursar’s Office for the most up-to-date figures.
