Office Named in Honor of Castro Family

In recognition of the support of CED alumnus Ed Castro (BLA ’88) and family, the College of Environment and Design dean’s office has been named in their honor.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the naming of the Castro Family Dean’s office. Ed Castro is one of our most loyal and generous alumni, and we are grateful for his ongoing support,” says Jennifer Messer, development director at the CED.

Castro is president of Ed Castro Landscape in Atlanta. He recently served as Grand Marshall for LABash 2019, which brought over 400 people to the UGA campus. We appreciate Ed’s support of our college, and of our students, in particular.
