MEPD Student Samantha Trust Wins Top GISday at UGA Map Award
MEPD student Samantha Trust has been awarded first place in the Graduate Division map contest held during this year’s GISday@UGA events. GISday is an international celebration of geographic information systems (GIS) technology, held this year on November 13th.
Sam’s map, Assessing Habitat Suitability and Human-Jaguar Conflict Areas to Identify Potential Jaguar Corridors Connecting La Amistad and Corcovado National Parks in Costa Rica, went on display in the Main Library on November 1st, and was awarded the top graduate prize on the 13th.
