Alfie Vick promoted to full professor

Congratulations to Alfie Vick, who has just been promoted to full professor at the University of Georgia! Vick is the Georgia Power Professor in Environmental Ethics and is a licensed landscape architect and LEED Fellow. In addition to his teaching and research, he is also director of the Environmental Ethics Certificate Program at UGA. He holds an MLA degree from CED (1998) and a BS degree in engineering psychology from the University of Illinois at Champaign (1993). He has published numerous articles on green infrastructure, sustainable site design, landscape performance metrics, and Cherokee ethnobotany. He has been awarded many grants related to these research interests.

Along with research and teaching interests, Alfie enjoys exploring and leading field courses and working with community partners.  Alfie has taught full-time at CED since 2004.
