Kimley Horn Charrette Design Competition

In January of this year, CED hosted a design charrette sponsored by Ian Firth (Professor Emeritus), Kimley-Horn, Belgard, Forms+Surfaces, and Select Trees. The weekend offered hands-on site analysis and design experience for over 70 CED students across 4 different degree programs who collaborated in small teams to create dynamic and original masterplan proposals. These proposals included narratives, contextual analysis, hand graphics, and digital graphics. Overall, these documents display our students’ wide range of creativity, technical skill, and innovative problem solving.

The resulting masterplans are now part of a competition open for student voting! We invite all CED community members to review the masterplans here and cast their votes for their favorite proposal.
