Along with degrees in Historic Preservation and Landscape Architecture, Tom brings twenty years of experience in the planning and design field to bear in the professional education of students in the CED. In addition to teaching graphics classes in the MHP and BLA programs, he leads seminars that focus on the use and management of digital tools. As a member of the Technology Services team, he provides support for the instructional equipment in the studios and classroom spaces of the college, and serves as the front-line for student and faculty questions about applications, workflows, and digital tools. Tom also supports the service and engagement functions of the college, primarily through work with the CED’s Continuing Education Programs, and Cultural Landscape Lab.

Environmental history, cartography, technology integration, cultural landscapes, heritage of the space race, landscape construction.
