As the only representatives from CED in a field of over 600 UGA student researchers, BLA students Braden Meadows and Clint Granros participated in the 2019 Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) Symposium held at the Athens Classic Center on Monday, April 8th and Tuesday April 9th, 2019.

The annual CURO Symposium highlights excellence in undergraduate research at the University of Georgia through students’ oral and poster sessions—and is open to all undergraduates pursuing faculty-mentored research in any discipline, not just those enrolled in CURO coursework.
Braden Meadows, under the direction of Associate Professor Cari Goetcheus, presented his poster “Capturing the Essence of Cultural Landscapes: Best Graphic Representations – Proposal and Preliminary Findings” Monday evening, April 8th. His primary research goal is to identify and understand the most effective methods of cultural landscape documentation from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Working with Professor Brian Orland, Clint Granros presented his research entitled “Psychological Response to Environmental Design Factors Experienced in Virtual Landscapes” as an oral presentation on Tuesday, April 9th.
