Reid Ferrero
Director of Facilities Planning and Real Property
Reid Ferrero is the Director of Facilities Planning and Real Property at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. A proud Double Dawg, Reid earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from UGA’s College of Environment and Design, followed by a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Graduate Certificate in Water Resources. He became a Registered Landscape Architect in the State of Georgia in 2016.
Reid’s professional background includes work in bioactive water garden design and filtration systems, fire protection, and military service in the U.S. Navy. He spent ten years with UGA’s Facilities Management Division, advancing from Planning Coordinator to Landscape Architect, and ultimately serving as Director of the Project Management Department. In that role, he managed over 250 construction projects with a combined value of approximately $300 million at any given time.
He is deeply committed to the University of Georgia community and is passionate about campus planning, sustainability, and education.
