Daniel Sniff

Retired Faculty

Dr. Sniff retired as the Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning at the University of Georgia after thirty-one years. During his tenure, he administered over 2.8 billion dollars in new construction or renovated space. In his capacity as the campus architect, he oversaw a 46% increase in building square footage added to the physical plant.

His teaching includes classes in the Master of Historic Preservation and Master of Landscape Architecture departments. As a graduate faculty professor, his duties include working with students on their master’s thesis and Ph.D. dissertations.

Education
  • Dr. Sniff is a registered architect with the following degrees: Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Business Administration, Master of Landscape Architecture, Master of Historic Preservation, and Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management and Policy.
  • Dr. Sniff also received International Certification in Comparative Higher Education and studied at University Twente, the Netherlands and Beijing Normal University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
