The Undergraduate Certificate in Land Design and Development gives students a solid introduction to how land and real estate projects are planned, designed and brought to life. Throughout the program, students will learn how to read site plans and surveys, evaluate different types of sites and navigate the legal and environmental factors that shape development decisions. Students will also get hands-on experience pulling these pieces together to create full master plans and pro-forma budget forecasts—skills that prepare them to contribute meaningfully to real-world planning and development projects.

This certificate is the result of a collaborative effort among several UGA units: the College of Environment and Design (CED), the College of Engineering, The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the College of Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS), the School of Law and the Terry College of Business.
