New Double Dawg Program for Anthropology and Historic Preservation

The Double Dawgs program at University of Georgia (UGA) is designed to save students time and money while pursuing their education. Double Dawgs creates structured programs for students to earn an undergraduate and graduate degree within five years. The program has many different major combinations available across all UGA’s colleges.

The College of Environment and Design’s most recent Double Dawg offering is an Anthropology AB/Historic Preservation MHP degree, which prepares students to be leaders in the fields of historic preservation and cultural resource management, as well as providing a pathway into Ph.D. programs in the social sciences and humanities. Admission to the graduate program occurs by February of the fourth year, for matriculation as an MHP student in Fall of the fifth year. Admission requires the successful completion of at least one HIPR and one ANTH course. To explore the CED’s Double Dawg offerings visit http://doubledawgs.uga.edu/ProgramDetails/14432.
