The efforts of Master of Historic Preservation student Elizabeth Jones to preserve an abandoned and nearly forgotten African American cemetery are featured in the Fall-Winter 2019 issue of Walton Living Magazine. Zion Hill Cemetery, associated with the former Zion Hill Baptist Church, lies on the edge of downtown Monroe in Walton County.
