CED Alumni Lead Through Global Pandemic

Two CED alumni are featured in the latest issue of Georgia magazine. Heather Benham (MHP ’03, JD ‘03), Executive Director of the Athens Land Trust, shares how her organization has met the challenges of the pandemic by helping community members pay rent and adapting the West Broad Farmer’s Market to an online platform. James Whitley (BLA ‘02), co-founder and chief operating officer of Landmark Properties, also responded to the pandemic by partnering with the Boys and Girls Club to help provide spaces for students to have access to online learning.
