Jane Bian is an assistant professor at the University of Georgia and a registered professional landscape architect. Her research and teaching focus on the intersections of environment, health, and mobility, with particular emphasis on active living and smart mobilities. She has published in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part A: Policy and Practice, Transport Reviews, and Journal of Transport and Health.
Her work aims to advance equitable, technology-integrated, and community-informed approaches to urban sustainability. In particular, she is committed to enhancing transportation systems, promoting public health, and fostering environmental resilience in underserved communities through research, teaching, and design practice.
