Tutoring at Pinewoods
Oasis Católico Santa Rafaela sponsors an after-school program for children, age Pre-K to 5th grade, in the Pinewoods community of Athens, Georgia. Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Oasis tutoring is virtual, and it takes place via Zoom Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 5:15 pm. Tutors reinforce academic skills by assisting students with their homework and by creating unique lesson plans that enable children to thrive in a virtual but interactive learning environment. Knowledge of the Spanish language is not required, and we welcome undergraduate college students of any major. For more information or to register to tutor, please visit our website at www.oasistutors.org.
