Georgia Students of Landscape Architecture Host Chad Danos, Former President of ASLA
Chad Danos, FASLA, former president of the American Society of Landscape Architects, joined us here at CED for a two-day visit recently, hosted by Georgia Students of Landscape Architecture (GSLA). Sponsored in large part by Permaloc, his visit was a great opportunity for students of landscape architecture to hear about trends in hiring as well as emerging challenges for designers.
Danos is the director of landscape architecture for the Duplantis Design Group in
Baton Rouge, La. Joining him was Daniel Martin, director of marketing for the Permaloc
Corporation, a company dedicated to landscape surfaces such as permeable pavements,
edging, and green roofs. In addition to presentations, students also got the chance
to socialize on the Georgia Theater roof with Mr. Danos (center). Pictured here are
