Ashley Steffens Included in New Book on Graphics

Associate Professor Ashley Steffens is part of a line-up of practitioners and educators contributing a chapter in Nadia Amoroso’s new book, Representing Landscapes, Analogue just published by Routledge. The chapter is titled “The Hand Graphics Experience.” Steffens highlights works by her BLA students Anna Leigh Turner, Elias Payne, and Braden Meadows.

While this book emphasizes the variety of analogue representation methods (drawings, hand-built models, sketches, vignettes, etc.), Steffens is well-versed in the world of digital technology as well. She currently serves at the president of the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture. Congratulations to Ashley and her students!
