Biographical Information

The University of Georgia

Dr. Sniff retired as the Associate Vice President for Facilities Planning at the University of Georgia after thirty-one years.  During his tenure, he administered over 2.8 billion dollars in new construction or renovated space.  In his capacity as the campus architect, he oversaw a 46% increase in building square footage added to the physical plant.

His teaching includes classes in the Master of Historic Preservation and Master of Landscape Architecture departments.  As a graduate faculty professor, his duties include working with students on their master’s thesis and Ph.D. dissertations.      

 

Education

Dr. Sniff is a registered architect with the following degrees: Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Business Administration, Master of Landscape Architecture, Master of Historic Preservation, and Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management and Policy. 

Dr. Sniff also received International Certification in Comparative Higher Education and studied at University Twente, the Netherlands and Beijing Normal University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China.
