CED Team Continues Work With Landscape Architecture Foundation’s Case Study Investigation Program

The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) selected three College of Environment and Design faculty members as Research Fellows for 2018. Jon Calabria, Alfie Vick, and Brian Orland are collaborating with HDR, Inc., a large environmental engineering firm with offices in Atlanta, doing case study research for the new UGA Science Learning Center and the Historic Fourth Ward Park in Atlanta. Rachael Shields, a second year UGA master of landscape architecture student, is serving as the research assistant.

Rachael recently wrote an article for the LAF News Blog about their work to date. Read about their use of drones to measure landscape performance, including some of the digital tools involved, by following this link. https://lafoundation.org/news-events/blog/2018/05/29/csi-uga/
