May the justice served in the murder of George Floyd serve as a point of hope for dismantling systemic racism. There is much more work to be done.
This moment feels pivotal, as the collective actions, dialogues and protests of individuals and groups here in Athens and across the nation have brought an awareness that we all have a part to play in reaching social equity.
